I tried this yesterday and it failed. Could someone try to reproduce this? Or let me know if this is how it should work?
* Create a new object (a cube prim is fine) in-world. * Set its description to something like "old description" * Take the object into inventory
* Rez the object from inventory back into the world * Change the description to something like "new description" * Save the object back to inventory
* Delete the in-world object * Rez another copy of the object from inventory * Check its description. It'll say "old description"
In short - a 'save back to inventory' doesn't save the new object description.
Thanks, Ziggy

I've had this strange bug thats been haunting me for a long while. Sounds somewhat like this but it has to do with modify rights. I set the object to mod and copy but no trans. If I make multiple copies of this one object with these settings, and copy them into folders one at a time, suddenly some of the objects become No mod when ressed later. This has resulted me in lots of wasted time checking each object to make sure they are all set correctly in properties. I found a way to fix it when I come across one. I res it, it says no mod, so I make a copy of it in world, and delete the old one. When I take the new copy into my inventory, its perfectly fine. Anyone else dealing with this type of bug?
