I have all the latest drivers installed, the correct version of DirectX, not to mention that this is the same video card that I used before my older motherboard croaked on me.
I used the DxDiag and found out that I have an NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
I've also got the hardware acceleration up to full. Any ideas?

Do you have the latest drivers for the motherboard and chipset? The GeForce MX440 is actually a GeForce2 card with more memory so it isn't going to perform spectacularly but it des work as I know at least one person who does use it and it does work. Can you list your cpu and motherboard and any other system specifics? _____________________

for mx440 try rolling back to 71.89 drivers, above wont really give you much diffrence, see if that does something for you.

Okay these are the system specs:
AMD Sempron Processor 3000+ 1.81 GHz, 512 MB RAM I'm also using Win XP if that helps at all. As to rolling back drivers, and checking chipset...those terms are unfamiliar to me, sorry. |

What exactly is the issue here? Is SL failing to work or are you trying to improve poor performance? You haven't exactly explained why you are posting.
