SL effectivelty crippled ingame by rampant error message :(

Okay, the situation, I was wearing a walk bracelet doodad in the WA, and went to teleport home.

The teleport failed I ended up stuck over the ocean, etc.... you've heard the story, so I relogged.

Relogged and appeared at home. Everything's cool.

But...

Now if I leave my land, every 4-5 seconds I get spammed with 'Script trying to stop animations but PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION permission not set'... and I can't stop it.

Asked Rheya Linden, and I removed everything I wore and relogged. No go.

I reset every script in the walk bracelet. No go.

Was suggested to bug report. But then I realized it was too much to put into one bug report to explain all I tried to do to fix this.

I then even *deleted* the walk bracelet. Still no go. (yes, even emptied trash)

I seem to be a prisoner on my own land... I don't have anything on my land that would request to start OR stop an anim, so I don't know why I'm fine on my land, and the moment I leave my land, the spam continues on. I can't even mute the messages because they are not coming from any object.

Am I going to be forced to make a new character to fix this? I can't do anything if I'm going to be spammed into oblivion if I ever leave my home.


EDIT: Seems that I'm free of the spam as long as I'm somewhere in Gray sim. it's not just my land after all... the whole sim is okay for me, but if I leave Gray, it starts. o.o

I had EXACTLY this same problem last month with my animation override bracelet. I was at a sandbox and ported home, and BOOM, constant messages. It only stopped when I went back to the sandbox and somehow managed to find it.

If you're in the sim where the object was inadvertantly dropped, then it won't "talk" to you.

Unfortunately after you get that far you have to find it on your own nothing else I and Live Help tried made it stop besides finding it again.

Mmmmkay, oddly enough, after trying almost everything, I surrendered and put another av on.... halfway through the parts appearing suddenly I ghosted. Grumbling, I relogged....
... and everything was working again. Wth? Well, never look a gift mole in the mouth.
