Not happy. Not happy at all.
Yesterday I had a login problem. It would get to the 'fetching inventory' stage and then quit back to the front screen with the 'despite our best efforts...' message.
This happened repeatedly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rebooting cable modem and refreshing IP etc etc.
Anyway, for no good reason at all, it started working again.
BUT.. the single most expensive object I had in my inventory, which I kept in the root of my inventory because it was so damned expensive and important to me, is gone. Just vanished.
I paid a very, very large sum for it. You could buy land at auction for less. So I am somewhat unimpressed.
So that's your answer to corrupt database problems or whatever it was, is it? Just delete the item?
Who is going to reimburse me all those US Dollars?

Most of the time requests to have objects exported are responded to with something indicating we don't really need to export for backup purposes *supposedly* because there should "never" be a database problem again...
