Prims re-sizing themselves when copied???

I had a really odd glitch this morning. Some prims I was working with re-sized themselves.

I was making a new set of wings. I rezzed a cube, and set its dimensions to 1M x 0.01M x 1M, making it a flat plane, twice as tall as it was wide. Textured it to make it a wing. Looked fine. Then I selected the wing, and drag-copied it. It copied, but...

Both the original and the copy changed in thickness from 0.01M to 0.50M. WTF?

I'll try to do it again when I log in at lunch time, see if I can replicate the glitch. It did it to me twice this morning...

I've had a similar problem, especially when using mathematics to resize/rotate/pivot objects versus the click-drag interface.

With rotation, I've discovered if I rotate an object by 1/2 of what I want, when I exit the edit interface it will snap to where I actually wanted it. Perhaps there's a similar workaround for stretching prims.

Sometimes lag can be the reason for that but SL has floating point errors in cuts, rotations, etc since SL 1.7 or so.
