Yep thinking that this patch might help my crashing...All it did was cut down my time in the game. Now i crash like every 5 mins. I ran out of things to do.

1-unistall-reinstall the game
2-unistall -reinstall the driver (VIDEO) ..even cleaned out the old driver.
3-UNISTALL AND REINSTALL THE WHOLE FREAKIN WINDOWS XP (AND YES ITS ALL UPDATED)
4-unistalled anti-virus program.
5-unistalled anti-spyware
6-thinking it might be my audio card...i unistalled and reinstalled it also.

I dont know what else to do. I dont even know if any developers in the company are reading this.

Im getting close to unistalling this game. A good game that I like alot. PPL are great and the have a game that basically has no limited. Its gonna hurt me alot to get rid of it. I know im not the only person with this problem.

What are your system specs, Locz?

Most importantly, what kind of Video card do you have, and how much memory do you have in your system.

That might help us give you some ideas :)

Have you checked to see that all the fans are actually spinning at the correct rate?

I had a problem with a card that had a grill in front of the fan, it got clogged would overheat.

Also had a power supply fan in the process of dieing that would do ok except for running SL and then the computer would crash.

Try changing the login location in the startup preferences, and turn shadows and water ripple off.
