stop or give a limit to the friend teleport option on map

I'm talking of a big problem for what I know, most of people i know hate be mapped, that mean someone on friend list that use the map to teleport directly on you, that can make happen that a friend get you on a bad moment, that can make embarassing situation sometimes, so I think that option should be removed from the map, or at last limited with the friend list (like grant modify rights), I know some friend that give calling card instead of friendship because of that, and for what i think calling card is quite useless since dont show who is online...

I hope many reply to this tread to show to lindens how bad is this problem.

If you don't see anyone else respond to this it's simply because we're tire of writing and complaining about not being able to tp either.

This is a veeery old complaint.. may want to go to the feature voting page and vote for this. Best option is to not "friend" people except those you trust not to abuse the Mapping feature.

There was a lot of talk about in-game privacy a little while ago. Then the main forums were shut down and there's been nary a peep about it since. There were some great ideas and even mock-ups of an improved friends window. Oh well..

Kath is right. Don't friend people unless you really want them as *friends*. As for someone who is mapping you, I'd reccomend warning them the next time they do it, or just removing them from your friends list.

Is someone who invades your privacy and doesn't even show you the simple courtesy to ask first, *REALLY* a friend?
