3GB RAM, 512MB Video RAM (supported card), a downstream that reports at 9067 and an upstream that reports at 534 today. Usually I can have pretty much everything up nice and shiny and rarely experience lag. Except when I enable voice....
Every time! A private island with five people and not overly-built or scripted. Everything looks fantastic until I enable voice. Packet loss goes from <5% to a reported 138% and stays well over 50%, and objects take over 3 minutes to rez. I disable voice and everything returns to normal.
Doesn't happen with Ventrilo, but has been happening with SL voice for weeks. Have tried the usual complete uninstall, etc. checked firewall which works fine for all other VOIP services...
This is driving me mad - any ideas?

[ update ] swapped out the router for another and everything is working fine...
