hello just enabled my free account and from the very first moment my character cannot move at all.... it seems that everything is working ok, even the left-right buttons are working correctly but i tried to move my char by pressing A, or up arrow or even click and go there but nothing works. The most strange thing is that after a while my character starts to run and i cannot do anything to hold him until he fells in the cold blue sea. i wanted for so long to see how this would be but i didnt expected something like this  please help..! |

You know what internet speed you have ?, its caching wich can take forever if you have a low bandwidth. http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest1 mbit or higher usually recommended, prob possible with 0.5mbit to, like it isnt slow enough in here as it is sometimes  |

too bad that needs so much bandwidth... but it is quite reasonable if you think that the installation folder is about 50 mb!!! it would be much-much better if you needed to download the whole game at once and then just run it from your pc... this way more people would be able to play the game but its ok.. i think i'll renew my world of warcraft account... take care  |

It is not feasable to install the "whole' game. |

What about me then? I'm on the fastest Comcast cable connection available, just checked my speed to be safe and I'm getting 944 KB down and 89KB up (yes KB, not kb). Still having the same problem as the other guy, and I can even add that when I pull up the diagram for the movement keys it registers that I'm hitting the up or down arrow keys but never does anything. I've also tried clicking on the movement keys in the diagram itself, all I can do is turn with no forward, back, sidestep or flight.
Don't think this is a caching issue, the game loads fine but once I'm in my connection doesn't show any activity.

There´s times when the grid is under maintenance or when it´s under attack, it lags like hell. Personally I have around 400kb connection, and sometimes it works fine, some times not.

change your settings. Go through preferences and change your settings. Turn off almost all the graphical options. ecspeiclaly local lighting as its done all in software, and set the draw distance down to 64 meters. Keep everything off an minimal and see if it runs ok, then play around with it increasing things from there. On the main graphics page the only item at the top i keep checkmarked is Shiney objects.
