Anyone happen to know why no where will rez, why I won't rez, and why I appear to be 10 meters underground?
All my settings are optimised, I am on broadband, even though my SL bandwidth is jumping around like a crazy thing.

It's been doing this for the last 4-5 hours. I tried sending a bug report but SL crashed, no one's on Live Help.

This is kind of annoying seeing as i'd like to finish working on the outfit I'm making.

I've rebooted, reinstalled, done everything I can think of, changed groups, etc etc. Nothing works.

Have you tried cleaning the cache too ? I'd like to see a snapshot of how things appear to you...

Just tried that.
Nadda.

I'm not the only one having this problem, and the odd part is, it didn't exist immediately after the update.

What's the point of a game based on creating, buying and selling, if you can't see?

Wow

The only rational explanation I have for that, is that your client immediately loses connection and simulates your AV "falling" through the ground because it doesn't get any position updates from the server. This could be a firewall or QoS issue...

Press CTRL-SHIFT-1 in SL and see if the sim ping is changing or if it's "stuck" ?
