I was on SL yesterday and got hit with a few scripted objects that I didn't block. It crashed me out of SL, but wouldn't let me log-out, so I killed the power and reset my computer. Now it won't even let me log-in to Windows in regular or safe mode.
I can see DOS prompts on screen, but the Windows icons seem to be invisible. Could this be from the SL scripts? How do I fix?

Can SL overload my video card to the point where I can't get back in to Windows?
Disk drives are all empty...

Disk drives are all empty... From what it looks like, your videocard isn't the problem, SL isn't the problem, however killing the power to your computer may have been. |
