ZoneAlarm

I have been given the program Zone Alarm for free but wouls like to know ... what are the steps on ... Making sl work with Zone Alarm dont want to put in some thing that will not let me in ... to be in sl ... And Whoot!!! got my Card today ... Crossing my fingers but it looks good so far ... smiles

lol Had pacthed the other card like 2 times lol i think it just gaver up the ghost and didnt want to work any more ..smile

Ohhh, it's REAL hard...

Basically when you start SL (or any other program that uses the Internet) a box will pop up that says "Second Life is trying to access the Internet." and has a button to allow or deny, as well as a checkbox to tell it "do this every time."

Then you'll probably get another similar one that says that SL wants to RECEIVE connections. Click "allow" both times. Check the "remember this" box and you won't have to see those any more (until ZoneAlarm "forgets" its settings, which seems to happen from time to time).

For your input ... that really helps ... when i can get in to sl with out crashing at least i will know Zone Alram will work with sl ... and huggs
