Talk about a domino effect!!!

I need to vent!!

I came to SL with a dream of becoming a darn good business woman. Starting with nothing and working my way up until I was in a comfort zone. With a lot of time invested, I worked the camping dance poles, became an escort in various clubs until I then owned one. It began to do well. Not only was I able to support myself with the club, but I started expanding into other ventures. I learned to build, thus opening a furniture shop as well.

I saved and saved, I bought land for the idea of leasing houses. I saved more and decided to get into the casino business and worked with a builder for theme slots. The day I opened [having spent thousands on paying someone to build these special unique new games] SL decided on opening day to make gambling illegal. I took a major lindens loss.

That was three weeks ago, and since its been a spiral down hill from there.

The last week has been hell, No one is buying from the furniture shop. My club that has always stood its own now has begun to cost me money. No one has money now a days, girls can't work because the lag is horrid or their AVs are looking like newbie girls. The ads I rent out can't be loaded so even that is at a complete stand still.

A week of hell so far after a major money loss of three weeks ago. SL has to get this stuff fixed. To hell with Voice...FIX the other dang problems so we can at least continue in hopes of surviving.

The bottom line is this....

IF I continue to take a loss in a basic game due to lag and other login problems I might as well quit. I can't continue to pay in with real money to stay afloat in waiting for lindens to get off there ass and fix things. But they are right there on pay day to take classified money and the tier costs of land. Its to the point I will have to make a choice, ..just allow SL to foreclose and thats just not fair.

Nothing is working, rentals, ads, tip jars, girls look like newbs instead of beauty queens and wont work, money lost in transactions, items lost in inventory, can't change clothes, can't tp, can't move, crashes. THESE are serious problems.

I say, put voice to rest, fix these issues or the domino effect from losing the casinos will only get worse and SL turns into a..."has been" idea.

What is even more sad. Is the feeling that Lindens doesn't give a sh..! No longer live help in game, no way of getting help thru emails [I tried, you get a form letter back] and their phone systems of calling is down most of the time. Thus making them totally out of touch. Totally shutting us out.

I am so hoping that another company comes out with something simular to SL, I need to move on.

oh mystique i feel so with you.
that game really start to be annoying. it costs money and whenever i spend some of my real rare RL time nothing works. but most of that is i am really angry about the blog that says problems resolved. nothing is resolved but the moneyammount of LL. goddamn we pay for being betatesters.
SHAME ON YOU SECONDLIFE!!!

@DAZ think about that all fun you have in that game you only have because some people have a business in that game.

Heck...if things don't straighten out in SL, hell ya. And if I am feeling this frustrated don't you think my friends are as well? I would say we'd stick together and leave together!!

Sorry, but these are real issues. When I buy lindens I expect to be able to use them and not see a 0 dollar account. To me, thats theft of services. Its not just the money, but hell I don't want to continuously lose it either. I am not THAT stupid!!

It is fair that if she is a paying member of SL, and that if she has service problems, she has the right to complain and/or express displeasure.

And as for making friends, not everyone wants to spend their time in, for example, say a furry community, building a circle of friends/aquantainces and wiffing?(squiffing?yuffing?)

PS: "Paying" also includes basic members, as they contibute to the SL economy through their $L turnaround too.

PPS: what is it furry's do? Wiffing?

PPPS: Why are all furries really good at scripting and building cool things?

Consider your self enlightened(From above):
