Corrupted SecondLife.exe

I did a clean install of secondlife v1.11.2(4) and when i start SL i get a (SecondLife: SecondLife.exe - Corrupt File) notice on my task bar. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded 3 times with same effect, the corrupted .exe file. I was wondering if anyone else has this trouble, and if there will be a fix.

something on your pc / isp issue is corrupting it on the way to you, got any friends who can send you to it, zip/rar/ace it to avoid whatever is bugging to pick up the .exe as it can trigger some virus/firewalls.

Deleted windows temp folder?, might be some remnant there.

this is not the first time I download the sl setup file and you know how many upgread they do from time to time!

I delet even the Cookies, delet all temp,,,, reboot the computer ,,,,, try with both upgread while open the old ver. or download from the site...


still corupted file and the size everytime is 24.5 M


strange it mention that it may possible to skip this check using the /NCRC comand line switch (not recommended)

I suspect it is server/network issues due to everyone downloading the new version in the same small period. My bz2 archive was corrupt the first time I tried. The second seems to have worked. Of course, I could be wrong and the Windows version could be corrupt on the server itself.

It would be nice if they posted some kind of checksum for the downloads.
