Cannot Log in... Stuck at Connecting to Region

I wanted to try this game out for a while during the free trial, but it seems I wont even be able to log in. Is there a reason I'm getting stuck here? No firewalls blocking it. And I meet all requirements. Anyone have an idea? Or a way to fix it?

I am in the same position, it is becoming very frustrating. I have sent emails to support asking for help with no reply. I have even spent the money to upgrade to a better graphics card and meet all requirements. I gues my free trial will come and go and acct will not be activated.

Where are you getting stuck? What do you see on your screen at the time?

I am stuck at connecting to region, I can not get any further than that at all. When I first downloaded I did get in, then I had freezing issues and my av would dissapear. This happened when I would try and transport. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I can't get past that point...... ok just now I got in and my AV is invisible GRRRRRRRRR, calgon take me away

Do you have Avatar Vertex Program turned on? If so, try turning it off. (Edit > Preferences > Options > Avatar Vertex Program)

What video card do you have? What kind of internet connection do you have? Are you on a wireless network? If so, can you try plugging in directly?

Well for me I have never actually gotten into the game so I don't think my settings would be like that if not default. I have a internet connection through broadband and I am wireless yet cannnot plug in directly.

First, ty Catherine. I deleted all the files uninstalled again, updated my driver on my nvidia Ge force 5500 graphics card. Now I am stuck again or still at the same place. I am not wireless, on dsl.

I did get in earlier but my avatar was invisible. I could chat but thats all. sigh... I will keep trying. Ty again for your help, it is most appreciated.
