most of my inventory is missing. all of my landmarks are gone. many of my folders with outfits are now just empty folders. i am wearing an outfit from one of those empty folders. when I do a search for worn, it doesn't even show me as wearing anything.
where did my inventory go and how do I get it back? these were not cheap outfits.

I am having the same issue. Just about half of my inventory is missing. Does anyone know anything about this?

Try clearing your cache and relogging, log into a different region, type in search ABCXYZ and wait for the search to end, reboot your router and/or modem, and wait it out for more than just a few minutes.

I cleared the cache and relogged. It worked. Thanks!!
How often should one clear the cache? My husband and I both run an account on one computer.

Before I log in I check clear cache so that the next time I log in it will clear..........no matter which account I use. But, that's my method...........I would say clear your cache at least once weekly if you use SL everyday.

That's your choice. If LL didn't want to enable us to clear the cache, they wouldn't have added a button & startup option. I reserve the right to laugh at people who do this then complain about the load camp/traffic bots put on the system, though.

I don't experience near the problems that others do with this game. I maintain my computer the way that I want......and that includes clearing caches often. It's people who tell me how to take care of my personal stuff that I laugh at..........they seem to be the ones complaining. They seem to have the problems. And they point figures at people like me who don't have problems.....that we are causing their problems by taking care of our stuff. Do it the way you want. Suggest the way you use.........oh, I forgot, it's your job to diss anyone you think might be causing YOUR problems (guess, the ARC thread is still on my mind ) In short........I wish those people would mind their own business. The OP asked how often one should to clear their cache. I told her the method I use and added an alternative. My method works...........for over two years. Why wait for a problem to develop when you con prevent it in the first place? But, you take care of your computer how you want.....I'll take care of mine the way I want. Thank you.
