Ok, I recently went to a flatscreen monitor. Great monitor. Problem is, it's max resolution is 1280-1024.
I wanted to take some *really* high rez screenshots of SL, but I didnt want to resort to that "take 80 meg sceenshot" option, because it tends to choke my computer. 1600x1200 or so would be fine, plus, snapshot doesn't capture the HUD... and I'm trying to take publicity shots of a product that includes a HUD.
Is there any way, short of driving back to my parents and getting my old monitor out of the attic, to force SL to run at higher than my monitor supports temporarily?

You are limited by your hardware, you cant make a 1280X1024 screen go to 1600X1200.

aye lcd's are hard set with their pixel count, even on CRT monitors its a iffy deal becuse if it doesnt like it, it could cause damage (or atleast make some funny sounds)

Rei that's something that gets me wondering... wish there was a way to take "higher" rez snapshots, but not so high as the current nifty (but definitely choking) option under DEBUG.
You can show HUD by clicking "Show UI in next snapshot" in the Snapshot window, but it'll show the whole SL interface.
