I've been using the 'drag-a-folder-onto-your-avatar's-back' method of changing my appearance for a long time now with no problems whatsoever. Recently it's become a bit of a lottery with my client crashing as the new appearance loads. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions for solutions/workarounds?
