I've got a fast enough poota, 3ghz, 1ghz memory, but only a 32mb AGP video card, do you think that this video card could be the problem behind the game crashing?
Basically the game starts then when I do anything it just freezes and I have to restart the poota....
This is the first game I have played on the poota, so perhaps I need to upgrade to a 128mb videocard??
Please let me know whats best.
Thanks
Silver

32meg is fine, run an old Nvidia 32m card here at work, and no issues, besides slow..
What type of video card do you got? ATI, Nvidia?...
Either one, good place to start is make sure you got newest video driver...

ATI's drivers suck. At least that has been my experience with the ATI chipset that is on my laptop. This machine crashed SL regularly until I upgraded to the Omega drivers (a 3rd party that has done the job that ATI seems to be incapable of doing themselves). Check out www.omegadrivers.net . That might do the trick for you. - Ace

I think I'm going to change over to either a 128mb radeon or a nVidia, what do you all think? Thanks for the help so far peepz! Silver

Makes sure you turn off fastwrite, and even VPU Recovery...I had crash problem until I turned those off, and have not crashed since...
They are under Settings, advanced (Fastwrite is under Smartgart)...
