Normally when starting up secondlife you get the small window that says stuff like "checking hardware" or "loading secondlife" ect. Recently i'm able to start up secondlife only once on my computer per reset, and the subsequent attempts to load sl results in nothing happening, however secondlife.exe is still in the process list, and about 3 minutes later it terminates itself.

It's not showing any errors, or any adknowlegment that it was started other then the hourglass appearing, or the process showing up in the process list. I've tried getting the console to start up, but it won't appear untill the little startup box goes away, which never even gets initialized.

The only place I can find any error message is in the winxp drwatson log which shows
Application exception occurred:
App: D:\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe (pid=2772)
When: 11/10/2006 @ 15:07:28.921
Exception number: 80000007

Anyone have any ideas?

Run a memory test, and check event log for any other errors, like "Disk" which is not a good sign.

Nope no other errors.

Nothing on Memtest.
