SL Cache Location

Why is it required that I must keep my SL cache on my C drive? Almost all of my other software that use large cache or data files give me the option of where to actually keep those files stored. I have five hard drives, two of which also hold linux partitions in addition to ntfs, so I certainly like to keep my stuff organized. And plopping files that can be .5 to 1 gig size in the middle of my windows drive is not being organized to me.

There is a way to move SL cache folder to another drive, just not as easy as it should be, cant remember where the thing was, search never does much for me in this forum .
