I know this probably isn't in the right forum, however I didn't know where to post it...

Okay, I'm not happy with how things are going right now.... I accepted the offer for the real estate (aka sign up as a premium member and you'll be able to get free land as well as a free house)...

Well, I've now got someone (Kazanture Aleixandre) complaining that I stole the land from him, and then right after it was sold to me... Someone else bought it, even though it's supposed to be -MINE- and -NOT FOR SALE-... The person that "bought" the land from me (even though I wasn't selling it) is named Rockwell Maltz....

The person who I dealt with was Laura Linden...

Can someone PLEASE tell me what's going on here? I was promised land and now I've got someone saying I stole it from him, and to boot, I now have someone who's stolen it from me..... To say the least, I'm not exactly impressed right now, and I'm not in the best of moods....

Oh that sucks :(

Try posting this in "Hotline to Linden" forum - you might get help there. (insert smilie holding breath)

Thanks... Needless to say I'm not happy about this $70 charge on my account (or however it works out with yearly), because the offer is effectively moot to me if it can't be resolved... Twas the whole point I switched to premium.

Thanks for the tip. :)

You might have accidently put it for sale without meaning too, that has happened before. If that's the case then I don't see how the person was in the wrong for buying it. But anyway, I hope the person who did buy it will give it back regardless. That would be the decent thing to do.

Also, did you directly pay the person for the land? Usually you buy land by clicking on the land and then buying it that way. Just giving people money isn't a good idea, they could be scamming you.

White - based upon your description of events, it sure raises some red flags to me that something has gone awry.

I'd definately post something to the Hotline to Linden forum, and send an offline message to Laura Linden.

If you still don't get a quick resolution that way, try calling the office tommorow. The telephone number can be found here, at the bottom of the page:
