I went to a store to buy some stuff with a friend today, first day, and I bought a skin, but didn't receive it while I did get the other stuff.
I guess this is the place to report bugs? Well, my friend said some bug like this is going around, and I don't know what did it but I assume it's an sl bug?
No, I'm not trying to scam anyone, and I never received the item bought though the others did come through. Did log in and out to see if the item would appear, and no luck.
Of course, it took a few tries to get back into SL as well as I've read here everyone is having log in issues.

You are very correct Gretchen, their is an issue. I learned the hard way to stop shopping until they fix the issues. Unfortunately, I was shopping my arse off in SL Boutique, and things were coming through, but now that I am looking for things, I can't find some stuff  Especially a pair of nice thigh boots that I am pretty sure I bought. I can only hope, the creator shows my name as paying, and would give me the product  But alas, I am stuck out here, wanting to get in  Try contacting the creator Gretchen, and maybe that will help you out of your dilema  Take care *waves* (as i go back to the connect button...AGAIN...hehehe)

Definitely contact the seller (once anyone is able to get in again, that is).  It seems to happen intermittantly, some kind of bug..I had a buyer the other day whose boxed bedroom set was empty. Yet others have purchased same box, same location, and gotten the product. Sellers don't mind you contacting for replacement, we want you to be happy and get what you paid for. (Oh, the irony lol) Seriously, just message the seller

Yes, a friend said this was a bug happening, and I was never able to get in again yesterday so no idea if seller was able to see the message. I assume maybe not as people had log in problems. I also filed a bug report, and I wouldn't have bought the skin but had no idea this was a bug problem.
Thanks for the feedback, just mentioning it here so perhaps Lindens can see it and be aware of the problem.

I had the same problem, bought a skin but didn't get it. I messaged the seller even though she wasn't online, she came online very shortly after and gave me the skin. So to conclude, contacting the seller is a good idea.

There is a problem wherein the vendor scripts aren't getting notified that money has been paid, and thus they aren't giving the items from their inventory.
As mentioned, there are really only two solutions...
1) Contact the seller. Anyone who sells goods in-world who is worth their salt will make good on a purchase that didn't materialize.
2) Wait until 1.6.5 to do your shopping. Hopefully the next patch will fix this problem.

It would be nice if they sent out notifications to be aware of these bugs. But then again if they did that they then they would be expected to make it a priority fix. LOL
