Lately, I have ben trying to log on to SL and it will sit at the finding server for a while, then just drop to the main screen, with no window telling why...  |

Keep trying. You'll eventually make it in. The database is overworked right now, but they're hoping to have things under control with a new patch on Tuesday.

This is the third night in a row that SL has been unplayable for me. Not only is it next to impossible to log in most of the time, but when I do log in, it isn't for long.... as soon as I start to clean up my inventory, which I have been trying to do for three days now, the game crashes. This is getting old fast.
