Teleporting Problem -- Can Not Teleport Today ?????

Hello:

I have been having some serious problems today (Sunday).

First, I was not able to relog -in until 2 hours after I crashed out of the game.

Now if I keep trying I eventually get in but once in the game I cannot teleport anywhere. If I try, the progress bar creeps at a very slow pace and I eventually get an error message saying that SL has logged me out, After that it can be around 30 minutes to an hour before I am able to relog in.

Any suggestions?? Is it just me???

i get the same exact problem. i ran a traceroute and its showing atleast 50% packetloss down at Lindenlabs end.

not sure why. everythign was runnign fine yesterday.

Hi, yeah im having the same probs it started after the update 1 or 2 sims i couldnt get into.

Then as the hours past more and more or the regular sims i visited i got that error it never logged me out tho until i coulnt get home then i had to reboot SL to get back to my sim, now i am confined to only my sim and cannot even get into the sim nextdoor to pay my rent.

Iv had no packet loss as far as i can see email sent to support with log file *fingers crossed* hope they get it sorted soon as i can only do so much to my land lol.

I know of a few other people with the same problem.

I've had the same thing happen. I was stuck in the sim and everytime I tried to teleport to a new location, it would say that the system could not finish the request for the TP. I tried to just fly out of the sim, but I would just continue to fly and not be able to stop and things would not rez anymore. After all this, it would bump me back to the edge of the sim where I attempted to exit. I've restarted, power cycled my modem and router as someone suggested, but the problem still persisted.

i found the answer to my problem! i had my SIN weapon active once i deactivated it i could tp again no probs.

so if u have a weapon like crazeTECH then thats ur issue just unequip it.

I find that I'm getting logged off whenever I try to teleport to some place that has a bunch of people there. I don't have anything fancy on me. I have simple flexi-hair, and I was having the same problem before I got that.

I've taken to showing the location on the map and waiting for the location to rez there first before teleporting. It seems to help, but it's not foolproof.

This happens to me too. I have completely removed all HUD devices, AO's everything. I've also turned off my firewall, virusscanner & spyware program. It seems to be random, location and destination dont seem to make any difference. I have started using "show on map" and waiting for the map to rezz before teleporting....quite slow, but I haven't have a teleport failure that way.....yet.

I updated the firmware on my router (a Netgear WGR614v6, bought just a month ago). While doing so, I noticed that the Windows Firewall got turned back on. I don't know which fixed the teleport problem, but I'm sure the router update fixed the loss of connectivity problems I was having. When I lost connectivity, I lost it for all the machines in the house.

Now I can teleport blind and it always works!
