Pruni has been crashing about this time of day now for about 3 days straight.
Less then 20 on the Sim, and most of the Sim is empty, yet we keep having this happen and losing traffic because of it. And NO, there isn't any camp chairs, sex balls or dancing avatars causing the everyday lag and crashing....
Do you think you could maybe upgrade us from the Vic-20 to the Commodore 64 by any chance?

We have a sim crash on Telea at 3:30am game time daily. Nicole Linden offered the answer that it's the backups causing it. If this is the case I think they really need to re-think their system maintenance to make it interfere less. [we've opened tickets 181706 on Jan 16th & 183592 last night about this but no response]

I am about ready to give up.
I have redesigned the lay out of our place so the games are spread out, I removed Waterfalls, scripted lights, etc. etc. basically removing content that I enjoy just so we can make our place enjoyable as well as usable to our guests.
I finally get the place to run pretty smooth without the mucky lag to now have the Sim go down for no apparent reason.
We are fortunate enough to get quite a few new players, it is too bad their first impressions of the game is that it is very unstable and possibly not worth any extra investment on their part.
We also had the saving problem, usually at 13 after every hour we would have extreme lag then it would go away. They fixed that problem a few months back.
After getting a response from a Linden "let me throw that lag switch for you" I am really considering this isn't worth it.
My plans of purchasing an Island is on hold until they can offer a stable environment at 195.00 bucks a month.
I wonder what Active Worlds is charging these days...especially with the DI being removed there is no reason to try to pull in traffic.

If past history is any indication, someone could have placed a timed sim-bomb in each of these places and LL has absolutely no way of finding or eliminating it.
I hope their sim debug tools have improved in the last year, but I fear they haven't. I'd probably blame the backups too if I were in a similar position.
