hi i wonder if any one got an idea what the problem i got evry time i try to start sl i get a message`s toucan ipc window  econdlife.exe - application error the exception unknown software exceptecion (0xc0000005) occurred in the application at location 0x0359ce6f netscapedispatchwnd: secondlife.exe - application error the exception unknown software exceptecion (0xc0000005) occurred in the application at location 0x0358974e or sl just crashes to the background this all happens befor the sl logon screen trys to load now i was in sl the day befor this happend now i havent installed new software i already have tryed reinstalling sl but this had no result i use windows Xp Pro 64x eddition |

I have the same problem and so have many of my friends. I tried everything I could think of, download, uninstaill-reinstall, clearing cache, antivirus, registry cleaning but nothing worked.
Same as you, I signed off for a couple of hours, pc on I came back and it refused to work.
A friend of mine said that it worked after installing on a different hard drive, try this out just in case. I wish i had a second hard drive..sigh

Thx emma walsh that did the trick and your i recomend getting a second harddrive there not that expensive and easy to install (thats for peeps whit the know how of a pc)
