No IMs getting through, friends list borked, postcards crash you

I might have appreciated the blissfully quiet night until my partner came looking for me after IMing for an hour. I've had other people walk up and tell me they have been IMing too, and nothing is getting through. I've relogged several times now. No joy. As much as I like the peace and quiet, it's because things are borked.

Friends list is also unreliable again.

Also crashing every single time I try to send a postcard.

Terrible, terrible FPS as well.
