Hi,

I have just found a sound I would love to upload, but I get an error message from SL.
Seams like I have to convert the file or something.
Can anyone please help me?

TIA
Juliah

I think it has to be something like 14khz or SL won't let you upload it.

Hi Juliah,

The files have to be .wav and they can't be more than 10 seconds long. And they also must to be 44100Hz. I have some free software on my pc at home that I use to convert my sound files to 44100hz, I can't remember the name of it now but I'll IM you with the name when I get home after work. :)

Goldwave

Goldwave is a nice one to try, but it's shareware... You can try it out for free at www.goldwave.com. Older version of Goldwave work fine too, if you can find them. My version doesn't have a lot of bloat and is pretty quick with cutting/pasting and converting WAV files.
