A friend of mine has installed the new client and not can't move. she can only turn. the movement buttons won't move her. she has cleaned out the cache, restarted many times, teleported. nothing has made it possible to move.
her computer specs are below. does anybody have an idea on how she can get moving again?

Sounds like firewall noticed a new version on SL .exe file and blocked it, remove it from firewall and let it ask you if you want to let this accept incomming/outgoing packets.
Wouldnt explain how she can tp tho -.-; oh well some suggestion anyway.

she can connect to sl. she has just uninstalled sl completely from her computer. when she got back into sl, the same thing. unable to move.

i figured out the problem. lol. she was wearing something that restricted her movement. lol. i never thought that would be the problem so i went at it from the normal things. it dawned on me that must be it. so asked her to remove all attachments and there she goes. running across the floor.
