For the paying accounts yes I do but you'll never see it. Read the TOS subsection 3.8 and please tell me how to file a claim against those restrictions. Hummmmm could we claim it was an attack from mars???? no I think that is covered....

I realize this is covered in the TOS but wouldn't it be the right thing to do ? I think it would be a wonderful PR move.

And it wasn't even a technical issue, an USER caused it, so its not linden lab's falt, its that USER's fault. Therefore HE should be punished, not LL.

Yeah @post above mine.

But I remember browsing this sl site one of the last times it went down, i ran into a page that showed recent bad acts and the punishment given. One was something major that sounded like it was the cause of the grid going down and all it said was that user was banned for like 3 days...thought that was weird.

Anyway, this downtime is hell for sl business owners. I don`t even hold a lot and i am losing money everytime this happens. makes me wary of investing anymore into this game.

well here is an excerpt from another post I did today and here is what these grid attacks cost us.

2.) For us we are not medically able to work in Rl so we are hoping we can somehow eek out a supplement to our income and these attacks can and are becoming a great hinderance to that. And since someone made referance to the compensation plan in place in the TOS subsection 3.8, it's laughable for a linden to even quote it. Read it pls it compleatly exsponges the lindens from any claim for reembursment for any reason what so ever. So let me see we own a sim and 19K+ additional meters on the mainland that translates to a daily cost for us of hummm lets see $195.00 (sim) $125.00 (mainland) = $320.00 a month x12 months =$3840.00 a year devide that by 365 days comes to $10.52054 etc.. US dollars a day then add to that our lost sales for that day you can quickly see why some ppl are and do get very upset
