I've been on sl many many times, and recently it will lock up after about one minute or less of being on, just walking my character around... and will completely lock up my laptop. Can't ctrl alt delete or esc or anything. Plz help?
My laptop is not even a year old yet, I've never had any problems with it, not even getting a single popup ad so I'm pretty sure it's not my machine.

Mine is dead in the water too. But ... we're still going to need to know what your lappie is before helping. If you can't stay up long enough to copy SL's HELP/About screen, then tell us what your machine is. Amount of RAM, video card/chips, processor. Thanks!

PC locking up w/ SL everytime...

I have a dell xps m170 Intel(R) Pentium(R)M processor 2.00GHz. I have 1.00 GB of RAM with a NVIDIA GeFOrce Go 6800 Ultra
