When I log on I'm invisible and stay that way, also I'm a male and am told I have breasts now, plus all my clothing is skin tight and I'm alot shorter. I try reabking and relogging several times with no change. Also my map does'nt work, it worn rez in the land or show my landmarks. Also my search does'nt work either, it just keeps searching. My SL GF also lost all of her Linden$ so her account is now 0$. she has the same issue when it comes to being invisible. TP does'nt work either so we're stuck at home, cant see ourselves and our AV's are deformed, WTF is going on Linden!? We pay good money to play this game and most of the time we cant because SL wants to act stupid.

Another thing I noticed is I'm unable to change groups. I click on Activate and nothing happens. I am able to see myself now and my AV is back to normal but clothing is messed up so I had to take it all off and put it back on. My GF has her AV to normal too and her $ but the same issues as me still. Also profiles are empty. I have made a bug report of all of this.

Happened to me as well. These things happen when the database load skyrockets after an update. I just relogged and everything is back to normal for me.

if you have persistent probs even after relogs, try deleting your sl preferences and cache, then restarting. last client update gave me some weirdness too, but letting the new client generate a fresh batch of prefs for itself cleared up my probs.

This has been going on for two weeks now, whenever a critical mass of users is reached it seems. When you see the message "downloading clothing", prepare to stay invisible for 5-15 minutes. During that time, your inventory will appear empty or will only partially load, your L$ display is empty, you can't teleport and you're also unable to change clothes or attachments. All you can do is walk around and wait; sooner or later the database will load your avatar, inventory and other account data.
The gender change may be caused by Ruth There's a little Ruth in everyone of us. We're all basically female in SL; whenever you teleport somewhere, the residents watching your arrival will see the standard female "Ruth" appear, then your skin and your clothes are loaded (good ol' Ruth will probably grow a beard), and as the last step of this strange metamorphosis, your male shape will be applied. You'll only notice this when you watch your arrival with a second account; otherwise SL protects you from this horrible sight by showing you the loading screen until your avatar is fully loaded. I guess in case of database delay you're invisible for the same reasons; to keep you from noticing that you changed into the basic female (or rather, didn't change into a male yet) until your avatar data has been retrieved. |

Sounds load related. I never rez anything "no copy" immediately after an update, which helps...but to be honest, I have been invisible a lot more than I have been visible these last two weeks.
Unfortunately, I have talked to several friends who are in game (I am not in game now) and they said zero of the bugs that we have been bug reporting ad nauseum since 1.13 have been at all addressed: - TPs still don't work estate to estate - Joint pose balls still borked - Pants (trousers) on every AV are skin tight at the ankles - but look normal to the wearer (makes for some hideous pictures) - Invisble AVs - Missing images - etc, etc, etc I didn't mention search because it's not a bug...it's just a fatal flaw in the underlying infrastructure of the game that the most valuable tool the game has must be disabled to accomodate concurrent connections. |

Im getting strange texture bands across my avie, across face, upper body and upper legs. This started with the last update and I eventually was able to get it to stop or LL finally fixed the problem without ever saying anything. Its now back worse than ever and rebaking, clearing cache, removing and reinstalling SL, none of them help in the least.
this on top of all the other problems is making me rethink my plans to buy an island. I've been setting aside the money for an island and working on the business plan to make it self-suficiant but now I'm too uncertain of LL's ability to make SL usable to feel comfortable investing that much into SL. _____________________

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

These updates are a fooking joke!! In order for me to log in and see my AV correctly I have to relog up to 10 times or more even than my inventory does'nt load, map does'nt work and neither does search. Thanx alot SL for ur jokes and BS! Waist perfectly good money on this game and cant even play it.

Can't highlight a person's name in their profile anymore and use ctrl+C to copy name. So the greifer with the bizarre name will get away before we can jot his name down.

Even with all these problems, consider yourselves lucky, at least you're inside sl. I can't log in, period.
Thanks for the update, guys! (/sarcastically of course) |

Well after being in game tonight, I was actually pretty happy - at least with the performance of the grid. Not much lag for me overall - and no major packet loss save here or there.
I also had no problems with joint dance balls (didn't try much else). However, tight pants on others (this drives me crazy) and missing water bugs are still there. Not to mention still having issues getting things to stay in focus after turning or moving. I did experience two oddities: 1) that made my AO go a little nuts unless I detach before TPing or logging in/out (I believe this is a bug and will see if the same thing happens tomorrow). Also a couple folders were somehow meshed together in my inventory but I can't rule out that the new interface confused me and perhaps I did that without realizing. The worst was a I was missing for the first 10 minutes but came in fine after that. Overall, I was pleased. Heck of a lot better than the mess from last week. Hope many of you found improvements along the way. |

(/sarcastically of course) Damn that sux but I'd rather stay out of game than to look like a heshe midget. and to update. I still have all these issues if I log out. So I gotta keep loggin in and out like over 10 times until its kool even than I have to wait like 30 minutes for the map, my inventory and search to work right. Gotta love the geniuses that do these updates. |

Yeah, looks like Ruthing is back with a vengeance. Things are still re-attaching themselves to your bottom upon teleport (if you are able to teleport--I can't teleport myself but others can send me a teleport so I can show up looking like Ruth with my hair, shoes, and jewelry coming out my rear, grr, and my eyes popped out, double grrrrr!!!!). Demo skins I tried on over an hour ago are still on my avi, though I've changed her skin back to non-demo skin and relogged. I've bug reported mini-map and Debug menu not staying open from session to session--how does one bug report looking terrible to everyone but oneself? Final rant, when I relog I crash every single time. It's my computer, yes, so that's why I hate to HAVE TO relog in the first place. A relog requires about 5 -20 mins before I can log in again. SL is just not working for me and apparently lots of others. For me, what was once a 4-5 hr daily session in SL spent building, shopping and socializing has been cut down to less than an hour a day and some days I don't even bother to log in. Bleh, Linden Lab. Just BLEH!!!

Ok WTF is goin on!? I crashed during a tp and now I am unable to log in. It keeps sayin thats its still loggin me out and so I wait a few minutes, try again and it says the same this and has a different time on when it will be available. this needs to be fixed! I've had numerous friends with the same problem and I'm sure we're not the only ones.

Hmmmm - have you tried completely reinstalling from the website? Maybe a clean install would help you. Honestly - aside from search being down - I had no issues tonight at all that weren't all caused be me
