Unable to use SL since update.

For some reason after second lifes new update, im lagging out of control. It isnt a connection problem, im sure of that because its never done this to me before. It cannot download the clothing and it cannot rez anything as well. After a certain point it will just freeze and it will not close. Is there a way to fix this? Help would be appretiated.
