okay, its not a personal problem.. i am putting in the correct name and password but sl will not let me log in. and if i open up sl it shuts itself down and ask me to send a crash report. it just crashes itself. i don't know why it keeps doing this but i think i may be missing something in my pc for sl but i am not sure. i used my boyfriend's computer beforehand when i found out about sl and i was living with him. i broke up with him and had to move back in with my parents. i had to download sl on to my new pc that my parents got and now sl will not run for me. could anyone help me please. i would really appericate it.

thank you.

Could be incompitable hardware, or drivers not up to date,

know what the pc specs are on the pc?

you could post dxdiag information to would show alot
click start
run
enter in dxdiag,

the first page shows your pc build up, display is the one youd want to check, you could save all information, and open that file, and post it here (can be quite big tho)

You basicly have to get a entire new vidcard upgrade for SL to start, if its a laptop you cant do it.

You would have to either send the pc in for them to put the card in or do it yourself, cost errm depends on wich video card youd want to upgrade, and if its pci,agp,pcie , anywhere from 40-300$ 'ish

Trouble is i have no idea what motherboard that is so i dont know wich one it could use, and some higher video cards will kill weak powersupplies -.-;

Prob some name brand pc by the looks of this dxdiag report.

I can't get in on my pc either, I can with my laptop, so I know it's not a connection issue.
When I do get in, it crashes right away, and prompts me to send a crash report.
My pc is working fine otherwise, and has an updated video card

check your vid card if its supported if it is, then its driver issue or cache usually.
