Has anyone else had a problem of missing parts of the textual characters?

This is happening to my chat, im, and inventory text. It seems to change and get better or worse depending on the chat font size, and/or the UI Size.

I got it out of the UI by changing it to .80 but still have it in the other places.

I reported the bug, but as it's probably considered minor by the lindens will never be fixed.

I'm running at 1280x800 resolution and my notebook is using the Intel 945GM Express Chipset 128meg video with their most current drivers. It's a new Duo Duel CPU.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I've had this problem too but assumed it was my laptop overheating. Will file a bug report if it happens again.

This problem still exists in 1.12.2 (9) using an Intel 945 chipset.

Intel Extreme Graphics aren't officially supported by Second Life. Linden Lab makes no promises about whether things will work correctly, or even work at all.

I have tried recent versions of SL on a Dell system with Intel graphics, and seen anomalies in text similar to the ones you report. I don't think LL is going to devote much effort to fixing it; their response is "install a supported graphics card". A bit tough if the system is a laptop though!
