Not sure why but they just don't record. It used to give me an option to choose what codec to use, now only shows avi option. Maybe I need to load other software? Have Divix loaded but not much else.
I rebuilt this system recently so not sure where the problem came from. Running XP Pro SP2. Asus A7n8x-e delux MB. AMD XP3000 Barton. Nvidia 6800OC. 1 gig 3200 dual channel ram.

It's been a while since I've messed with the recording option, but as I recall you need to have many of the Windows Media codecs installed; I'm sorry, but I don't remember where you can download them from.
