The real problem with lag and slowdown

Is rare i make a post in the forums but i need say a part of this problems, the problem in that are a camping guys in all grid, let me explain, one and only guy open over 200 to 300 accounts and this guy go to camping money areas and he get alot money they are the farmers, and they are a plague in the online games, second life is not exception

calculate, 3 linden every 10 minutes in 1 one hour is 15 lindens in two hours is 30 lindens and 8 hours is 120 lindens and 120 lindens per 300 accounts this is 36k
or calculate 2 lindens in 15 minutes you said, but i know this is to cheap, but how money is this guy with 100 ,200 or 300 accounts in diferents parts making a camping? uh, this is alot money

when i fly for make friends in all grid i see a bounch guys in alots areas and when i enter to the sim they are camping farmers, they dont say hello, they dont speak they dont make nothing just they make a camping for stole a money

this terrible action make a super problems in all grid make a slowndowns, lag and database problems all days

so, maybe not all camping players are farmers, so, but some people with alots accounts abusse with this

weren't they going to do that age thing to limitate (or control w/e) accounts?

Eventually, maybe in 2008 with this speed.

I seen "bots" in SL that just stands there 24/7 logs in out in out in out in out , doesnt even move from their spot, sad.

Ivan, I agree that camping stinks, but what you are suggesting here is virtually impossible. One person can not run 300 different sessions at one time.

they make that with alot computers in a big room and second life is not the exception
the camping mode is the best for stole a gran quantlty money from sims owners and exploting all second life resourses, this problem create extreme lag and alot problems with second life system

"bots"/campers isnt really the issue,

(nor is goldfarmers, anyone can farm for money, people who buy it is the issue, making a market for selling ingame money in a game)

Its the people who use the camping chairs to get high traffic rating on the useless search, yes some say this is the -only- way for newbies to earn money (wich i dont agree on) , now its easy possible to make 100's of alts, camp em, and that would start making you money , needed incentive to camp with 100's of alts= well there you go its paying you more then you spend.

I salute the ones who started this camping with good intensions, but as most have noticed now it is abused to much now to be of any use then to get customers/people who enjoy SL annoyed.

Traffic is also a thing thats been abused to levels of making it useless, so maybe thats next to remove from SL, when did you ever look at traffic then go there, oooh nice content,store/whatever, no its a camping zone now.


I have 5 computers and im pretty sure i can log about 8-10 on each of them with -login command /minimize after sat down (afk timeout? sorry thats easy to ignore as i can stay in SL 4-9 hours without being logged off) so "but what you are suggesting here is virtually impossible. UO/wow/eq1/eq2 farmer servers thats 100's of them running constantly, no market? noone would do it.

haha you believe you words?, ask to the farmers owner sites if they cant make that in second life,
my friends and me want make a boicot to all shops with camping area, 3 linden in 15 minutes is abusive and and get a full resources to second life, lag other extreme problems, you said all time linden labs have a fault so maybe they have a fault, but the famers, griefers, bots, make 30 percent technical problems and 70 percent is a horrible lag in second life for the campers areas

You all don't get it *shakes head* , famers, griefers, bots has nothing to do with LL servers in Calf. The servers they have right now isn't big enough to handle all the new ppl or alt ppl to come in game . I have been in game now for 2 yrs . Had to created a new account when my main alt account was hacked into game . LL didn't do anything about it but I brushed it off . Good Job I say to the hacker that hacked my password. But I to complains in the forum at times , but seating here today I relize one thing the more we all complain the more LL will take their good old time fixing the problems that has been happing for 2 days now . I will say this keep up the good work LL and get us all back in the swing of things at least by this afternoon lol , I have a JOB in game I need to go too . But really all in all famers, griefers and bots has nothing to do with LL servers , the grid is on LL servers if the servers goes down then guess what ppl we do too . Or we have grid issues in game . you are to wrong, the campings area is to bad for the comunity and bots, i play all days in this game i play since 2003 and i see what is the mayor problems in this days for this disasters , i cant walk in camping areas for the extreme lag, and i know some guy making a farming in sl, and the griefers are free acount with out restrictions,

if you dont like my opinion just dont read to me and dont try to give to me a second life class
(I know all problems from Second Life has had in all, its years and Linden labs has made an effort to give a good world us, but this is out control in some things the abusive campings and farmers, and excesive griefer free accounts so that as now the camping can be obtained the money free this creating too many problems as far as the operation of the SL so dont try to give to me a lesson a noob from 2007

newsflash, none of those existed till SL became free to join , you'd be amazed how few joined when you had to pay once, get banned? make a new one and pay again (or they banned your visa...wich i dont think they did , dunno i havnt got banned : p , oh wait they just suspended the account like 3-7 days or something low), now you can get banned, remake a few 100's wont cost you a thing.

Bots have nothing to do with free accounts, yes, they came about after free accounts, but only because of LibSL and the open-sourced client movement.

Farmers showed up as soon as RL money was changing hands. With GOM, IGE, etc, pre-Lindex, pre-Free accounts.

While it's not quite a boycott, I am less likely to visit shops that advertise camping and am less likely to stay if I show up at a place with lots of camping.

Short exsample;
Take one look at any public sandbox and you will see nothing but griefs that arent even delt with due to LL unability to bother showing up anymore, yes there was griefs way back, but it would be delt with very fast, and the "we cant be everywhere excuse is old, they dont have that many public sandboxes, but dont even bother checking up on any of them.

I feel sorry for the newcommers trying to make something in them, and will experience grief so fast their head will spin, then complain to help/support? (haha... there a joke) only to realise LL wont even lift a finger , cause they wont show cause its prob just a minor grief?, theres nothing minor about the way they spam particles,giant prims taking entire sim, sound spam and other things all over.
