Still can't buy $L on Lindex

It's been over a week now and I still can't buy $L on the Lindex. I filed a support ticket, a week ago, and it is still listed as "New". It's laughable really. Their support infrastructure is falling apart at the seams. There is no way to get through to anybody who can do anything to fix major problems like this, and there appears to be too many of these problems for them to acknowledge them all on the blog.

And then we see blog posts about holding 'Support focus groups' to figure out how to improve support. Are they that clueless? Wasting time holding focus groups when there is clearly nobody even bothering to read their support ticket queues.

They have lied several times on the blog and said that Web based LindeX transactions work just fine. I guess LL doesn't want our hard currency. Time to look into one of the other exchanges.

I believe credit cards are working, it's the PayPal/LindenX method that's borked.

I posted elsewhere, that in my humble estimation, the conversion process of US dollars to Linden is where the problem lies. You can visit Slexchange and use PayPal to import US dollars into your Slexchange account and then convert those to Lindens. It's a fairly simple process and once you have Lindens in your Slexchange account, you visit the nearest in-world Slexchange ATM and withdraw your funds.

Another option is using one of the third party exchanges. I have no experience with these so I don't feel I can adequately comment as to their reliability.

No, my account is set up with a credit card. The information is up to date and accurate. It doesn't work.

Same here and mine doesn't work either, I just pray to god everytime I click that button to see if lindens show up that it isn't actually charging my account when I recieved natta! Actually my bill came a few min ago so I am going to check that out.

renew your card informations, i know even if they are up to date, its a bit buggy right now. It might help, it took me about 45 minutes to verify em new LOL

As of 2:18 SL time today, the Lindex is completely closed. Looks like the financial problems continue. No mention of this on the Linden Blog yet- probably will be soon. I hope they can fix it soon.
