Trouble uninstalling Second Life

Hello,

I am attempting to uninstall Second Life. I have tried uninstalling from the Start Menu and using the uninst.exe program in the Second Life program directory. All give me the same error. (For some reason Second Life does not show up in the Control Panel's "Add or Remove Programs" list)

I get a dialog box saying "This will uninstall Second Life 1.8.1.6 from your system." I click on "Uninstall" and a box pops up saying "Could not find the program 'SecondLife'. Silent update failed."

Does anyone know how I can uninstall this program?

it shows up in my add/remove list , the only thing that comes to mind is try reinstalling it which will replace the bad? uninstall info.

Then try it again

also if its not in your add/remove list it may have already uninstalled and left a folder or 2 laying around (most windows programs tend to do this)
