I have sent 2 reports of bugs i have encountered since the update. No one from the Lindens has answered or offered any suggestions.
First one was when i am trying to make new gestures, most of my gestures from the folder do not show up in the picker.
Second one is many of my textures are not showing up in the picker either. Very frustrating.
If anyone else has had this problem can you give me some insight?
thanks

Yep, had the same problem.
It's because all the permissions were not clicked off on that texture or gesture by the person who gave them to you.
Go in inventory, right click on the texture, look at properties, look at permissions like "allow anyone to copy" or "next owner can copy".
If every single one of those isn't clicked off, it won't show up in the texture picker.
I guess this isn't a bug, but SL just tightening up copyright issues.

I guess this isn't a bug, but SL just tightening up copyright issues. I might be wrong, but I don't believe it's "let anyone copy" needs to be checked. I believe it's just having the right to copy. Also I don't think it's copyright issues but rather permission issues. Most textures and gestures in SL are not copyright protected, that's a government thing. Sorry for responding, I know it is a small difference. But I would hate for someone to start setting up their items for "anyone to copy" because they misunderstood. Please don't attack me. I'm "Mostly Harmless".

Animations must have modify/copy permissions to be placed in a gesture.
No-copy and no-transfer textures do NOT show up in the Picker, UNLESS you clear the "Apply Immediately" box. This prevents you from accidentally picking a texture that locks your whole object with these restrictions.
Bug Reports should be filed when you encounter a problem that, while potentially inconvenient, does not directly affect or impair your actual ability to function within Second Life. Examples include graphical oddities, misdirected teleporting, incorrect financial data, or missing inventory. The feedback on bug reports is limited so if you need help to continue playing Second Life, don't rely on the bug report, try one of our other methods of support!
