I went to log into SL for the first time today after the update. It asked me to download new version, so I click on download, and it starts doing its thing, no big deal. When it gets to the install window, it says "checking for permission to install" then i get an error message that says " Error opening file for writing: C:\program files\secondlife\secondlife.exe" and then it gives me the option to abort, retry or ignore. The retry doesn't do anything. Whats the deal? Is anyone else having this problem? I've downloaded like 2 other versions or updates whatever they are, and never had this problem.  Please help!! I apologize if this has already been posted on, I tried looking through the forum and didn't see anything about it. |

That happened to me a few times. Try re-booting your computer and then go to the website. That worked for me.
