From reading all the other threads it would appear to be a problem with my firewall, but it still won't work after disabling Norton and the XP Firewall. I have a university connection and I read somewhere that that might be a problem, but I've never had a problem with programs like this before (World of Warcraft and Anarchy Online, for example, work smoothly).
I've tried a lot of things, from updating all drivers I can think of to reinstalling second life several times. Am I going to have to give up on this, or does someone have an idea I haven't thought of?
