Black Bands or Rings in the Firstlook Sky

Just in case anyone else is seeing this problem in the new first look RC2 build, I thought I would post the solution preemptively.

I logged in and the sky was filled with alternating sky and wide black bands going all the way around the sky horizontally. To fix it I opened up my preferences and adjust the sky detail slider. It turns out that they move, expand, and contract as you slide the slider. I only had to slide it down a little from all the way up to get the bands to disappear. So, you just have to find the slider position closest to what you had where the black bands don't exist.
