Can someone tell me why the lag and the bad FPS exist now? I used to have great FPS and no packet loss,,,now i can bearly move at my own house. Which is a private class 5 sim. My sim owners have restarted there sims and still not good. My FPS used to be 35-40 now im lucky if i get 15. I dont get it, all these updates and restarts and its getting worse. Can soneone enlighten me please?

There are many major and unrelated issues conspiring to hurt performance in individual sims and across the grid. LL has acknowledged that there are problems, but they are still investigating solutions- and it may yet be weeks or months until we see all of the current problems resolved.

LL has stated that there are issues with the link between their Dallas and SF data centers, and there have routinely been issues with the routing hardware that supports their networks. Although I don't blame the Voice feature specifically for any recent issues, it seems like several updates made around the time Voice was introduced hurt sim performance as well. I think that script performance is worse now, while the effects scripts have on sims has increased. I'm also convinced that other sims that share a server with your own now affect your sim a lot more than they used to.

I notice this too since last Wednesday update on my old mainland sim. Before, Dilation was .99 - 1.00 and no packet loss. Now, it sometimes drops to .90 and 1% to 7% packet loss. I check maxinfo's Sim Neighbors all the time and have the same sim neighbor as before.

You might want sim owner to check maxinfo to see if you have laggy neighbor.
