I just made an account today and started a game.
For some reason my camera just kept spinning round and round which meant I couldn't really control where the avatar was going, eventualy I hit a wall.
I went to "return home" and I ended up in a desert where everyone was speaking spanish... then the game crashed.
Now whenever I goto log in I get the "Logging In - 2nd Life may appear frozen" the window comes up (NOT RESPONDING).
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but the same thing just keeps happening.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to try?

Hmmm, odd. I had an issue when I first started - where I couldn't see my own avatar. My only recourse was to create a new account...

you might want to check to ensure that your account meets minimum requirements, how fast is your CPU, how much ram, and what kind of video card.
