New User unable to login

Hi all,
I'm trying to log in for the first time.

I type my name, last name, password, then click "connect". The progress bar always gets stuck at "Verifying Protocol Version"

What does this mean? Let me know what other information you need from me, if any.

You likely need to contact support rather than post here. We can answer specific questions as fellow users but Linden Labs rarely reads this forum so you would be better served contacting them unless you can give us a whole lot more information like system specifications, internet connection type, etc.

The biggest reason for log on failures is not meeting the minimum requirements computer wise or outdated drivers.
