undefinedI have terrible lag and it wont stop. I have set prefrences to lowest you can go and it still lags. How do i solve this problem. Do they have to do something to SL to fix the problem?
Im running this system----> P4 2.2GHZ 1024mb RAM Video card- Intel
Hard drive- 28 GB free space/ 35GB total space.

From what I have read on these forums, Intel Extreme video isn't very well-suited to SL. It's kind of low-end. I would suggest getting an nVidia card (as ATIs are kind of a crapshoot right now in SL), like a 6600 or 6800. These are the new ones, have much better power than the previous 5xxx series, and go for anywhere from $130 for an "entry-level" one to $600 for a top of the line one. I suggest spending between $150 and $220 on a video card, unless you are willing to lay down the extra cash for a really high-end package.
Other than that, your system specs are alright. _____________________

SL's down at the moment, but when it returns you might like to post us a screendump showing the 3 opened windows of Alt-1 for the FPS details, and maybe some of the displays from the debug menu. It ought to be possible to figure out what the major bottleneck is from that.
