This has been mentioned in a few posts, but I wanted to bring it to the top.
There is a new release, 1.6.5(7), which I just downloaded manually from the SL downloads page, and within 2 minutes, I was in.
I had previously spent about 2 hours trying to log in with no success, and the new version was NOT downloaded automatically, so try get it manually and see if it will work for you too.

Yes, that version worked for me too, but for me it was automatically downloaded...

I just downloaded that latest version and I still can not get in. Hmm..fixed my ass.

the client now looks organic. like have feellings... each time i press "connect" i will get a new error.
