I can't find a Linden to help - the concierge 27/7 chat line is unavailable!! Not sure if this is a total mainland problem. I am experiencing major griefing in the Kirkstone sim!

Any suggestion for help? I turned off scripts, building - everything i can think of!

And Mauve.

It's really annoying.

i hope something can be done.

There should be some kind of way to report (someone to contact) concerning a emergency griefing incident (24/7). Filing a report just doesn't do it when something needs to be handled immediately.

The only tool needed to completely control griefing is for the landowner to ban/eject the offending avatar and return the litter and mischief left behind.

If you are not the land/parcel owner, it is not your problem.

Abuse reports may result in an account suspension if properly filed but Lindens are not wont to cancel accounts without a paper trail lest a lawsuit for inventory loss appear in a court of law. Thus the "hands-off" Linden policy against griefers.

Griefers want attention, and by sparring with them you give them exactly what they seek. They are the "forum trolls" of the metaverse.

also you can turn off 'object creation', 'object entry' and 'run scripts' for 'all residents' in your landplots. good precaution.

If it was only that easy - as an example, the picture I posted WutWut Foggarty seemed to be the culprit? I dunno. His name doesn’t exist in search. Its hard to eject or mute someone when you cant find the person. I had everything turned off ( scripting, building, object entry) before the attack even happened.

Just a suggestion, it would be nice to be able to contact someone for real time emergencies. Concierge says they are open 24/7 but they were not available. :(

Thanks for your suggestions :)

Concierge technical support chat generally wouldn't be able to help with a greifing incident anyway, it's not in their realm of "dealings" as it were as it was explained to me once before. That's a G-Team (Governance) issue and has to be handled via AR's. I have been told though that filing a ticket in the support portal to bolster the AR does tend to get it some attention.

I would think the Toss that you agree to covers all that is needed to take away access to the grid.

my Sim got it also,It was short lived and should not be posted on the forums, you just add fule to the fire when you post these kinds of threads.
